QOT TCP TECHNOLOGY
Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP) combines a thermoplastic liner with continuous-fibre reinforcement and a protective outer layer. Its low weight, corrosion resistance and flexibility make it suitable for oil and gas transport, renewable-energy projects and deep-sea resource development.
Compared with conventional steel pipe and metallic flexible pipe, TCP enables long continuous lengths, spoolable installation and lower offshore handling loads.
CORE ADVANTAGES
Low pipe weight reduces handling loads and simplifies transportation and offshore installation.
Corrosion-resistant materials can be selected to suit seawater exposure, transported fluids and operating conditions.
Liner materials can be tailored for abrasive fluids and the transport of slurries with high solids content.
Composite construction can be engineered to meet the fatigue demands of cyclic loading and dynamic offshore applications.
Long, continuous lengths and spoolable construction simplify transportation, handling and offshore installation.
Optical fibres and sensor cables can be integrated to support condition monitoring throughout the pipe’s service life.
